MOBILE MUSIC INSTITUTE

Someone searching "youth nonprofits in San Diego" isn't looking for Mobile Music Institute specifically. So, this page needed to earn their attention, explain the program, and turn a broad search into a reason to care, donate, or get involved.
THE OBJECTIVE
Paid search gave Mobile Music Institute one page to turn a cold click into understanding, credibility, and action. They already had a strong, local proof point: their six-week pilot that brought 15 San Diego students inside a professional music environment. The challenge was turning that proof into an invitation. Visitors needed to see the gap between talent and opportunity, understand MMI’s role, and want to help close it.
THE EXECUTION
I built the page around the idea that talent isn’t rare, but access is. The hero leads with that tension before asking visitors to understand an organization they probably hadn’t heard of.

The mission section gets more specific: “Schools teach music. We teach the music industry.” An animated underline draws attention to the line, while a student quote shows what that access changed firsthand.
From there, visual sections show what “access” actually looks like: professional gear, industry mentors, and career paths students may not know exist.
The pilot stats come in once users understand what the program offers, so the numbers actually mean something. That gives the page somewhere to go next: from 15 students in San Diego to the possibility of reaching more. Then, the page moves into the ask with the donation widget, followed by FAQs for anyone who wants a few more details first.
